There was no better example of the 1950's domestic discipline scenario than 'I Spank Lucy'. We talked about shooting this for awhile. When the stars alligned it was destined to be and we are very happy with the way it turned out. Doing something iconic can be a very tricky thing. I am sure there are those that will love it, others that will believe we have soiled the memory of this show to the core. One thing I do know is this, Nikki Rouge, who does such an amazing Lucy tribute, made it very easy for me to follow suit and become the Latin-macho, paper reading, wife spanking Ricky Spankhardo.
